February is here to help warm us up – both in recovering from the winter storm that froze our area over as well as showing some love for Valentine’s Day. The DC AGA Chapter is sharing the love with some upcoming exciting events and opportunities, including:
- AGA National Leadership Training on February 18-19, designed for current and future leaders providing an available 14 CPE hours.
- Our popular hybrid luncheons continue on February 24, 2026 with our guest speaker U.S. Department of the Treasury’s, Bureau of the Fiscal Service’s Commissioner Tim Gribben.
- An exciting, free, in-person MPGC Sponsored professional development session, GAO Standards in Action: Fraud Risks and Audit Excellence, is scheduled on February 25.
- The Washington Wizards game event on March 5 with fellow DC Chapter AGA members to help cheer on our local Wizards basketball team.
- The Annual AGA DC Chapter Hybrid Spring Training, which can earn you 16 hours of CPE credits and invaluable networking opportunities, is set for April 13-14, at Convene Hamilton Square for in-person participants. Confirmed sessions thus far include FASAB update, Cybersecurity Risk Management, Virginia Ethics, and “Pilot to Program: Lessons in Launching and Operating Governmentwide Innovation” with Brett Smith from SSA
