Our Chapter and what we have coming up

The Cherry Blossoms are blooming in DC signaling the beginning of Spring. As always, it is an exciting time for the DC metro area as well as our Chapter. We have a lot of exciting news and opportunities as follows:

  • There are seats still available for the Annual AGA DC Chapter Hybrid Spring Training to be held on April 13-14, at the Convene Hamilton Square for in-person participants. Virtual options are also available too. One can earn up to 16 hours of CPE credits and invaluable networking opportunities. • We continue to solicit award nominations that will be presented at the annual AGA Washington DC Chapter Awards Gala on May 30, 2026. Please help us identify deserving professionals in each category. We encourage nominations across federal, state, local, and private sector partners supporting government financial management. Completed nomination forms are due to the DC Chapter Awards Committee by April 15, 2026. . Navigate to the Awards page for more information on the available awards.

There are two in April (Ethics on April 15 and Fraud/Data Analytics on April 22), with two more in May and another in June. Keep an eye on future communications requesting promotion code signups as these sell out QUICKLY!
  • Our popular hybrid luncheons continue, with the next one scheduled for Thursday, April 23.
