Welcome to AGA Washington DC Chapter

Happy (Federal) Fiscal New Year!! To kick off the federal fiscal year, the DC AGA Chapter has a number of events in October for you! This includes:

• Our October hybrid luncheon registration is open! The guest speaker for this luncheon on October 14, 2026, is Tremayne Cobb, Director of Financial Management, Federal Aviation Administration. He will be presenting the topic: Financial Management and Capitalization at the FFA: Stories from the Field. We will be returning to Clyde’s in Gallery Place. Do not miss out on this luncheon since the next hybrid luncheon will not be until December.
• While CPE is available for our luncheons, the DC Chapter continues to offer several free slots to attend AGA Webinars for our DC Chapter members. Interesting topics – check, 2 CPE credits – check, free for DC chapter members who add their names to the interest list and secure the promotional code – priceless, literally! Submit your name to the interest list for the next one, also on October 14, 2026, with the topic of Uniform Guidance and Grant Accounting. Can you not attend this webinar? No worries – there will be around 10 more offered throughout the year.
• The AGA Washington DC, Northern Virginia, Montgomery/Prince George’s County, and Greater Richmond Chapters are teaming up to host a CGFM Study Group – 3 hours (and 3 CPE) discussing financial management functions and financial and managerial analysis techniques. This event also occurs on October 14, 2026, from 4:30-7:30pm
• Need to give your brain a rest after all those CPE opportunities? Join the AGA DC Chapter for an American-style Mahjong Lesson and Happy Hour at Lost Generation Brewing Company on Thursday, October 15 from 6 to 8pm
